Another Game Bites the Dust

Garstang 1^st XV are without a game for the fourth week in a row following the postponement of their league game against Littleborough.  The game had been scheduled to be played at Garstang but on Thursday it was clear that the pitch was going to be unfit by today.  We had already contacted Littleborough earlier in the week to make provisional arrangements to switch the game to their ground.  However, we found out last night that the game could not be played there either so it was called off.  This is a desperate disappointment to be without a game again and leaves many players seriously short of match practice ahead of the game at Windermere next week.
