Second Successive Postponement

Garstang’s game away at Bolton has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.  No date has been set to replay the game but with the new twenty six fixture league opportunities are already few and far between.  Next week the Old Bedians game, which was postponed last week, will be replayed.

The Blues game against Penrith 3rds has also been postponed.  An early morning pitch inspection took place and although things were touch and go the game was called off as there was just too much standing water in certain areas.  No new date is known for this fixture at the moment.

The Lions are scheduled to play against Burnley 3rds at Preston Grasshoppers but there is some doubt as to whether that game will take place.  Further news will be posted when known.
