North Lancs One Preview 13/03/10

Garstang will be looking to build on their superb win at Old Bedians last week when they take on Bolton at home on Saturday.  This will be the first time that the two sides have met this season but Garstang will be looking to improve on their dismal record against the visitors as they aim to get their first ever win over them following four previous defeats.  Bolton had an uncharacteristically poor season last year and for most of it they were in the bottom four.  However, this year they are a different proposition and they are currently ‘best of the rest’ chasing the top four.  Please note that the game kicks off at the unusually early time of 13:45 to enable the Lions to play straight after.

All the teams at the bottom are again faced with tough tasks with last weeks opponents Old Bedians being up against it as they travel to Trafford MV with a stack of injuries picked up in the defeat against Garstang.  Tarleton play in-form Hutton in a game which will be fiercely contested given recent history and their close proximity to each other.  

De La Salle will be hoping to make it a perfect twenty when they travel to play Hawcoat Park.  Didsbury are at Bury and they will be hoping they can get the win to maintain the pressure at the top.
